The Trouble with Bella

Where comic noir meets pure absurdism. A brief dive into thought-provoking nonsense.

ABOUT THE BOOK

The Trouble With Bella isn't just a comic-noir series to me—it's my heart on a page. I created it with a simple, honest hope: to give you a genuine breather from the weight of the real world, even if only for a little while every couple of months.

I wanted to make sure there was a place for this story on any shelf, so each issue comes in two distinct formats. You can grab the traditional paperback comic book to hold and flip through, or opt for the hardcover edition, which I designed with deep care so it can become a lasting, cherished part of your collection.

At the center of it all is Bella, a little Chihuahua with a massive talent for frustrating the absolute worst kind of people. Her chaotic antics drive everything; she’s unpredictable, completely unfiltered, and you never quite know who is about to get caught in her wake.

Against all odds, Bella lands in the arms of the exact person she needs: Mr. Smith. She doesn't see it right away, but Mr. Smith carries a shadowy, specific past that makes him her perfect match. Side by side, they have the potential to be truly unstoppable... though knowing them, I wouldn't bet everything on it.

This world is constantly growing, and the cast will keep evolving right along with it. I would love for you to be a part of this journey with me—if you have a place you’d love to see Bella and Mr. Smith wander into next, please share it. They just renewed their passports, and honestly, the sky's the limit for where we can take them together.

🎬 MOVIE REVIEW: The Trouble With Bella

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 out of 5 Flying Chihuahuas)

If you have ever sat in a theater and thought, "This movie is fine, but it severely lacks a long-haired red chihuahua wearing aviator shades piloting a presidential biplane alongside a former Commander-in-Chief," then The Trouble With Bella is the cinematic masterpiece you have been praying for.

The Plot (If You Can Call It That)

The film opens with absolute tension. We are introduced to Bella, a canine fashion icon with a neck nape whiter than fresh snow, who is clearly running the country from the front cockpit of a beautifully painted Air Force One biplane. The wind resistance alone should require a team of specialized stylists, but Bella’s coat defies the laws of physics, blowing back in a majestic wave of aerodynamic luxury.

Sitting in the backseat is her co-pilot/assistant, Donald Trump, who spent the entire second act trying to get a word in edgewise, only to be completely drowned out by the raw, unthrottled engine noise and Bella’s absolute refusal to share the radio controls.

The Conflict

The true "trouble" with Bella isn’t the fact that she has no legal pilot’s license, nor is it her lack of opposable thumbs to properly grab the flight stick. The trouble is that she looks too good doing it. The cinematography captures her fur coat—which she is obviously wearing because open-cockpit cruising at 5,000 feet is freezing—with such crisp, polished intensity that you completely forget this plane has no apparent radar or landing gear strategy.

The Verdict

Critics are calling it "A triumph of high-altitude canine diplomacy." The pacing is faster than a Verizon 5G network during summer break, and the visual effects will leave you breathless. It’s a bold, patriotic, and delightfully absurd ride that proves once and for all: when the country is in a tailspin, you put a long-haired chihuahua at the wheel.
